Yes!! I had gotten so bad that I couldn’t even chat if I didn’t have the numbers on the clock add up to equal 12. Or get up and go to the bathroom and count over and over. But I read someone’s advice on this online chat room and made myself stop. So every night before I do anything, I repeat to myself over and over that I will not count and I will not get up and down and go to the bathroom or repeat things in my head. I’ve literally had to scold myself and I have not had as many obsessive thoughts and compulsions affect me as often. Pakistani chat rooms are still there but that’s the only thing I’ve found that works. I don't know any scientific answer to that but I can tell you I feel the exact same way. That's been my all day every day for years really and the past few months being the absolute worst. It's like I'm beginning to question every single thing I do, like I don't know how to just live anymore. I'm sorry you're going through this too. I was running numbers through my head all day every day for months along with doing actual calculations on paper regarding had we saved enough etc. It was out of control. I would actual text or phone my wife yelling that we had no money. By the grace of god, really my wife, we found the depression chat rooms program online in Pakistan. 3 months of inpatient therapy finally broke that vicious cycle for me. I have had free chat rooms in Pakistan all my life but was only diagnosed 2 years ago as it really became crippling as I noted above.
